Got a lock! 60cm Dish, indoors trough a window.
Signal seems very strong! @Syed

@Tysonpower would it be possible to place the bare LNB outside?

You are probably at 35 dBi with that reflector. The LNB by itself is about 13 dBi.

Will test that in a moment, i keep you updated

Now without Dish (Turned the LNB Around and adjusted EL), seems good!

Is this outside? (I would be shocked if it was inside.)

We are waiting for a remote device in Budapest to come online tomorrow. We’ll then start bitrate testing and will have the audio and file streams running the day after.

It’s still behind the Window :sunglasses:
As i said before, Go with Astra, they beam down A LOT of Power

Super simple to point?

Jup quite simple. But i just noticed that the signal dropped a bit now. Seems like the Power from the sat got lower, because the lnb didn’t move.
It’s going a bit up and down, from -5 to -13 and no back up to -8db.

Update 18:19 UTC: now back to -5 to -6db

I am also trying to get a signal. Which settings should I use?

Frequency you see in ym screenshot and Type 183

I was told there was significant weather in Luxembourg causing uplink attenuation.

We are changing beamtype now. Will post the new one shortly.

Okay, still have a lock currently, so no change yet

@Tysonpower Can you please change to 163?

Syed…What other settings should I be using?..Am on the newer LNB…is it an Active antenna on ‘Satellite’ tab and ‘Dual Band’ on LNB?

Changed, rebooted and works:

Yes, it is active. That should be the default setting. This is the Othernet Dual Band. And then choose Custom with beam type 163 and the new frequency. You’ll need to apply and then go to Network to reboot. Or you could just physically power cycle.

Not bad for half the bandwidth as the North America beam.
