Can you overwrite a file you previously uploaded to Outernet?

It just occurred to me to ask how are file updated if, say, you spot a mistake or a typo?

This is not necessarily a specific instance. I just meant how would files generally be updated once people are using Outernet on a larger and larger scale.

Yeah, files can be updated as long as the contents are physically different.
