If reboot or factory reset of your Dreamcatcher does not fix this, it is likely that your Skylark image has been corrupted. At this point it may be wise to re-flash your SD card.

I ran into a problem with Android 4.4 and lower trying to open news with the stock Browser also if you just check your news folder and see if any stories have been downloaded yet
