Problem with CHIP (power supply)

I´ve just got my OUTERNET set up with the C.H.I.P. computer.
I´ve tried to supply power with the fully charged battery.
Raspberry works, WiFi is ok, I can see the librarian, but if I put the dongle into USB, the LED (and CHIP) turns off.
I’ve tested the dongle with a notebook and HSDR#, and it works properly.
It seems that the dongle overcharge the CHIP.
Please help me!!

carlo

Plug everything into your CHIP and then hold down the power button, it should boot up.

Also, don’t forget, we should not be using any external storage plugged into the device with a hub. Ken

Sìììììììììì!!
It seems to work!
Now every LED is turned on, even the LNA one.
I can’t test the receiver now, I’ll let you know.
But remember to put your advice into the instructions

Thank you alot

I had exactly the same problem, the C.H.I.P. turns itself off as soon as you plug the SDR USB dongle into it.
Using the power button to turn it on after the USB dongle is already plugged in, works. Thank you @demandzm
