Can someone please fill me in on how storage and backup works on Dreamcatcher with Skylark 4.4? After a power loss I lost nearly all my contents and I do have a FAT32 SD card installed for backup. This card is empty.
This may not be the answer you are looking for, but I have never been able to get a micro SD card plugged into the Dreamcatcher (DC) to do backups. I use the USB 32 GB Flash Drive (the DC calls it “external”) plugged into one of the USB ports next to the WiFi dongle. I have the Rachel data base loaded there too.
DC writes all the downloads to it. Ken
Thanks for the information, @kenbarbi! Good to know I’m not the only one having problems with backup to SD card. I’ll try out USB storage. Did you have to mount your flash drive manually?
No - - once you plug in the Flash Drive, DC automatically mounts it. I turn the DC off before plugging it in, but I suppose you could do it with the DC live too. Ken
