Status reports on Outernet satellite feeds

status reports on Outernet satellite feeds running at http://status.outernet.is/ is not working:
502 Bad Gateway
nginx/1.4.6 (Ubuntu)

I see the Status page is up gain, but there is no data on it. I have an outernet receiver back up and running on Galaxy 19, but there is no receivers reporting at all on the status page.

I am seeing successful collecting of status from my Outernet receiver on Galaxy, but no update on the status page. I suspect I am not reporting the data. I see sending payload, but I usually saw a clear data or some other message that indicates the data had been delivered:

Hello

The last two days I´ve been trying to connect to Eutelsat 113W, unfortunately I didn´t success… Is there an schedul to know when you are sending information?.

On http://status.outernet.is/ report right now there one active satellite. The last two days I´ve been trying with two different dishes 60cm and 120cm.

Monitoring script does not log to the application log. You can check the system log to see if it’s actually succeeding in sending the monitoring data.

Data is being sent continuously.

Branko:

I see the following in the system log:

Nov 4 00:20:17 orxpi user.info outernet.monitor: Collecting data
Nov 4 00:20:17 orxpi user.info outernet.monitor: Connected to socket
Nov 4 00:20:17 orxpi user.info outernet.monitor: Connected to socket
Nov 4 00:20:17 orxpi user.info outernet.monitor: Connected to socket
Nov 4 00:20:17 orxpi user.info outernet.monitor: Finished collecting data in 0.0997447967529 seconds
Nov 4 00:20:17 orxpi user.info outernet.monitor: Transmitting buffered data
Nov 4 00:20:17 orxpi user.info outernet.monitor: Transmission complete, claring local buffer

So, it looks like I am transmitting data. But, the status page doesn’t show anyone on Galaxy. I also noticed that when Galaxy did show someone there (1 user), the bitrate did not match mine. Can I check anything else on my end?

Data on status page is

  1. not real time but an average of data points collected in the previous 5 minutes
  2. there’s a bug that sometimes ‘hides’ some of the devices (they don’t appear)
