Do I need a Ku-band Satellite Hotspot to use the August 11 Live Outernet?

The portable dish/hotspot doesn’t exist yet. What you have seen of it so far is just prototypes of the device that is still being designed. For now, you will need a normal dish and other equipment listed in the post I linked to. Keep in mind that Outernet is still in technology preview stage.
