If you go to the lighthouse manual and click on the pdf. Just a picture of a question mark comes up. And below, a pop up says there is an error. I don’t know if its just an error with the pdf or something else.

That appears to be an iPhone/iPad-specific issue. Perhaps you will need some kind of PDF reader installed on the phone?
