Coverage and Transponder settings are missing for AsiaSat-5 in
https://wiki.outernet.is/wiki/Coverage_and_transponder_settings page.

It was removed due to the lack of users, and because it’s not Ku-band so difficult to provide adequate support from our side. We will be rolling out L-band for better coverage in the area.

Existing users still have presets on their devices so it shouldn’t be a problem for them.

I’m going to buy a C band dish on next month, hopefully. So how long it will take to stop the C-band service?

@Syed can answer that.

We will be discontinuing AS5 in about a month.

Thanks for the information.

Although L-band (IOR 64E) will provide much less daily content delivery (at first), it covers a much wider area and requires only a 10cm antenna, which you can fabricate yourself.
