This very idea has been swirling around in my head since jr. high and i’m glad to see others are already attacking it. i do have questions related to network infrastructure however, i.e. are you suggesting a loose network of stand alone units, or more of a repeater array, also have you considered the prospect of utilizing terrestrial, or low orbit repeaters to boost signal strength in denser areas, the thought occurs to me that you could create low orbit repeaters in a similar manner to the defunked( at least i think so as i havent heard of any progress in over a year) Hackerspace Global Grid. Just thinking with my fingers, i wish you luck and if you ever need a lackey i really don’t have anything better to do.
