Lantern one-way-proxy (skype?)

so i noticed some odd messages about skype on my unit about resolving for comm.skype.com today as i was trying to get the signal.

Is outernet being used to bypass blocking of skype traffic or something?
not seeing it now but this was the result of a ping test on the lantern system.

ping comm.skype.com

Lantern does not proxy. However, if you connect to it via WiFi, any domain resolves to Lantern’s IP address. Therefore, software that expects to see a domain will assume it’s on Internet and try to communicate with Lantern.
