Out of the loop or out in left field

So, I am a little out of touch with Outernet or Othernet… I bought this equipment in March 2017… I understand it doesn’t work with outernet anymore, is that correct. I am a beginner… is there anything I can easily do with this equipment aside from using it as a paper weight?
