I thought I’d experiment and see if my NooElec NESDR SMArt with the .5PPM TCXO (found here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01HA642SW/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
would work with no luck, at least with the standard kit that is sold on this site with the CHIP. I use this SDR as part of a panadapter setup for my Kenwood TS-480sat (HAM alert) with great results so I know it works great otherwise.
The red LED on the LNA module doesn’t light up and there is no signal lock. So I guess only certain SDR dongles are compatible then?
