Just offering options. Currently, I’m tracking the Starlink satellite beacons (around 12 GHZ) using a universal lnb pointing upward through my drywall ceiling and wooden roof. Of course, the Othernet satellite is 22,000 miles farther away and signal strength is much reduced. But I’m an optimist, I always hope for the best.

Yeah… I am getting no joy (and no fun) inside. Will wait for the milder weather Thur/Fri and bring it outside.

I’m trying to negotiate something with one of the new LEO systems (not Starlink) to enable a return channel, but nothing concrete to report yet. By return channel I mean allowing the Othernet device to send a very short message back to the internet. Very, very short–50 bytes or so.
