Are you able to replicate this issue or is it unique to me?
I havenāt been able to replicate. Is anyone else here seeing this problem?
iām working on recreating the issue but so far i wasnāt able to do so.
I could have written the original posting. Few files were available for viewing, although (as I interpret the logs) files were being received at +4 SNR. Changed the memory chip with one freshly formatted, suspecting a chip problem. Used the built-in formatting function since that seemed like a logical step. Only received some news files for one day. Applied patience, tried power recycling. Gave up. Tried receiving with no dishā¦bare LNB as a final experiment. Predictably a no-go. Will try again when functionality is fixed. This is the 1.05 firmware provided with a new unit.

Just to add to the conversation, I am seeing āFile Completeā for the messages but the folder never gets created and no files placed.

i think i found the error, will try and fix it and build a new firmware soon
More testing today, fresh flash, fresh format (windows long format) 8gb cheap SD Card (been using high end Sandisk Ultra cards) .
Good signal (-1), zero crc issues
Several News Stories received, no folder created, no files saved.
Several messages received, no folder created, no files saved.
Several opaks files received, no folder created, no files saved.
Please keep in mind that when the DC boots up with a freshly formatted SD card, the DC does create a TMP and Log folder.
This would indicate that the DC OS has no issue writing to the card and creating folders from a permissions or formatting perspective.
The TMP folder gets files written to it and the log is updated frequently, so no issue writing to the SD Card.
The issue has to be related to how and when the folders are supposed to be created. I have pulled the SD card and searched it thinking maybe the app is simply not displaying those files for some reason, but the files do not exist on the SD card at all.
Iām not sure what further information I can provide to help resolve this. Except maybe ship back my board and SD card for you to evaluate.
