Can you check with df -h if your internal storage is full? If so, try removing lighttpd access log (this can get large), and restarting the device. The UI should come up.

Syslog was full of balance_pgdat erors (still not sure what those mean, and whether they are critical), so I couldn’t see any entries related to hotplug events. Can you do this?

remove SD card
ssh into the device
run tail -f /var/log/syslog | tee hotplug.txt
plug the card in
wailt for the hotplugging to finish either with error or success
extract hotplug.txt from your device and post it online

It is possible that ext4 filesystem you are creating is not compatible with the kernel. We’ve experimented with ext4 using latest Arch Linux, but it’s possible that some distros use weird defaults that result in incompatibilities. IIRC, LH includes mkfs.ext4 command, so perhaps using that to format your card will give better results.

EDIT: I mean format it from within LH.

No, it’s more about the default ext4 options that are specified by the OS. I’m not sure what the defaults are on LH, though. I can look it up if you want.

If you formatted the card inside LH, try running sync command before ejecting it.
