AlphaSat 25E: Dead Server

Nice work, that was way faster then 8 hours :slight_smile:

Everything okay here in Germany :sunglasses::+1:

regards,
Manuel

YAY!!! I see data! Thanks @syed

OOOH still on Librarian I see there :slight_smile:

You are right :slight_smile: CHIP with Librarian. I still like the Interface more than skylarc.

Skylarc also seems to have wifi problems. Or is Skylarc now stable?

regards,
Manuel

@Syed
PS: Now where Alphasat is working, i can go to sleep peacefully xD

Now that I have outernet again, I will follow up on the issue that “outernet” messages from APRS don’t seem to be getting onto Alphasat (again) … I see Ariss stuff there but not the beacons etc. I have been putting up ( I just tried again no using VHF and can see them on aprs.fi, so I know they made it to the internet “backbone” )
Is this service discontinued?

@neil

These messages went out some 10 minutes back

Have you not received them?

The system is is operational, though due to forced disconnects from the aprs feed I do miss some messages. Right now though - cause the new server has just come up, it is backlogged with all the files, so message transfers will be delayed on Alphasat. The above messages did go to the carousel, so they should show up eventually. Failing that, lets try to debug in another 24 hours from now, by which time the backlog on the carousels would have cleared.

Hi!
Yes I diid receive them now… LOL!
I guess I was too quick to type! :slight_smile:

We got frame lock and started receiving files.

Thanks you guys !!!

Hi @Abhishek
It seems that only APRS satellite messages are getting onto Alphasat (at least)
I have given it a week, and not one of my "OUTERNET beacons has managed to get there, despite me being able to see them on aprs.fi
I have sent lots via various means too … here is some from the last few days from aprs.fi via HF & VHF
yes these are all small isolated packets, but guess something may be wrong still there somewhere :slight_smile:
